The Red Hill Ruins are a set of abandoned houses found in Cape Town, South Africa. These houses were left to decay after families were forcibly removed from the area as part of the native lands act in 1913, being placed into homes all across the country.
They were told renovations would be made to the area and their homes, but none were, instead the houses were simply left dormant.
